Project O is an orphan support organization working for the well being of all orphans. Our self-sufficient children’s homes offer, life skills; health care, economic development and promotion of justice, helping communities help themselves. Established to care for South African orphans, Project O plans to embrace the larger issues of community development and advocacy for the poor in its mission to help children and their families build sustainable futures.Working in The Valley of a Thousand Hills, Project O will have the first 100% self-sufficient children homes in the World. We hope that this will attract supporters and sponsors from all over the globe.
The heart of Project O’s work is in helping children who have become orphans due to the AIDS epidemic here in Africa. Project O focuses on children due to the massive scale of the problem. It is predicted that there will be 3,000,000 million orphans by 2007.Project O is an international partnership of Christians whose mission is to follow our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in working with orphans of Africa to promote human transformation, seek justice and bear witness to the good news of the Kingdom of God.
